Corrigan Moving Systems is proud to be a Michigan-based company. This year, 2019, marks our 90th Anniversary of providing full-service relocation, moving, and storage services to this community. Corrigan is dedicated to elevating the moving experience for families and businesses.

“It is an incredible honor that after 90 years, Corrigan Moving Systems continues to operate as a family-owned, fourth-generation business,” said Corrigan. “We are excited to celebrate this anniversary with our entire Corrigan family including our employees, customers, and communities. We also take this time to look into the future of many more years of quality moving, storage, and relocation services to our customers.”

After starting in Dearborn, Michigan, Corrigan has now grown to 14 locations located throughout Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and New York. Our operations have expanded, too. What started as a one-truck business now has over 600 employees. We provide services to move homes locally, long distance, and internationally. We also excel at project managing complex business and industrial moves.

Our founder, Frank “the chief” Corrigan ran an ice delivery company with his brothers. People often asked Frank to help him move, and so in 1929 he left the ice business to his brothers and started Corrigan Moving. Frank ran the business through 1945, when his son Paul Corrigan returned from serving in the Air Force during World War II. Paul took over Corrigan Moving and through the years grew the company into what it is today. His self-taught business skills, generous personality, and dedication to always do the right thing, were essential to building a business and name trusted by his community. At the age of 94, Paul continues to be involved in Corrigan Moving today. Click here for more company history.
