Corrigan Moving Heads to the Novi Art Show
As part of our year-long 85th Anniversary celebration, The Chief and his 1929 truck made an appearance at the Great Lakes Art Fair in Novi Michigan. Our 1929 truck is visiting 12 different locations throughout the year to participate in a community event in each of the cities in which we operate. This month we celebrate our Novi office. Novi is home of Corrigan Record Storage – expert providers of secure document storage, scanning, and shredding services for businesses of all kinds.
We had a great time at the Art Fair this year. The Chief and his truck were parked inside the convention center right by the west entrance. On Saturday he was able to give out 40 free tickets to the show to the first visitors to stop by his truck. People of all ages stopped by, and The Chief was able to share many stories of Corrigan’s long and storied history with them.
We met one lady who was born in 1925 and remembered seeing trucks just like our 1929 Model AA driving around back in the day. She remembered seeing ice trucks in operation and recalled riding around in the bed of the trucks. She even remembered Corrigan Moving from way back when. She and the Chief had a good long conversation about the past and how things have changed over the years.
April’s anniversary event proved to be another rousing success. Next up is our May event, where we will be heading over to Rochester NY to take part in a Rochester Red Wings baseball game. Stay tuned for more updates!
